Mother Anandamayi Kanya Peetha was established in September 1938 in Anandamayi Ashram, located in Bhadanei, Varanasi. There are both hospitals and ashrams in this complex. Former Prime Minister Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru, Indira Gandhi and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have visited this girl's school. An organization of Mother Anandamayee Peeth is also in Kankhal of Haridwar. This institution was founded here in 1938. Whereas, the first Anandamayami Ashram was built in Kashi in 1944.

Girls Ankushamayi Kanyakipit i.e. female gurukul is admitted to girls at the age of five. Meanwhile, he is given education of all religious beliefs and Indian culture. Due to the adult being girls, worldly education is also given. In Gurukul, students are taught Vedas and other Hindu religious texts twice a day. Apart from Sanskrit grammar, English, Hindi and mathematics, history, geography, sociology and economics are also taught. In addition, girls are given two hours a day for sports. In the girls' school of Anandamayi Ashram, sewing and knitting is also taught to make girls self-reliant with education.
