One among the dozen temples that we visited in Varanasi, the Sankat Mochan Hanuman Temple was a beautiful experience. The best part was that it was not very crowded and you could actually spend some time around. Location-wise, it is quite close to the Tulsi Manas temple and you covered the two together.
The temple itself is divine & has a calming effect. It's, probably, the second popular temple in Varanasi, after the Vishwanath temple. The main deity is Hanuman whose sanctum is just across the sanctum of Lord ram, lakshman, janaki facing each other. this is much famous among the locals as its considered the Lord bestows every visitor with their wishes. You can feel the divinity and energy all over the temple. There's adequate parking space for the vehicles in front of the temple. Despite of the ghasty incident in 2006, the temple still operates its security on trust of the devotees. Best part was was the enchanting of Sita Ram in Ram Mandir by 20-25 people. It was amazing to sit there and listen to it.
