At the same time, a Maharashtrian Brahmin, Mangaldasabhatta lived in a Kothi. They used to go back to the house after worshiping Baba Vishwanath ji after bathing regularly. Mangaldas was surprised to see this every day, that the garland he had ascended to Shrikashi Vishwanath, is lying in the neck of Swamiji. On several occasions, Bhattji learned that Swamiji is a Shiva-like personality. They brought the Swami Ji to his closet by persuasion. Swamiji used to always live under the open sky, so arrangements were made to make Bedi in the Koti courtyard and to live on it. In time, this place became known as the name of the Math of Sri Gangeshwamy.
