Tilbhandeshwar Temple

The city of Shiva resides in the particles of Kashi Kashi. There are many forms of Shiva here. Shiva is adorable here and Shiva protects and fills the people. There is no shortage of Shiva's wonders in Shiva's Anand forest. Here Baba protects Bhairav, then Dashash Jyotirlinga Kashi Vishwanath resides with the Taraak Mantra. Apart from these forms, there is another form of Mahadev, which resides in Kashi and every year with its presence, puts everyone in wonder. They are known as Tilbhandeshwar, which grow equal to one sesame each year. The gathering of devotees seems to be for the visit of Tilabhondeshwar in Savan.
Tilabhundeshwar is one of the three largest Shivlingas of Kashi, and every year there is a sesame increase in it. It is mentioned about this self-sacrificing Shivling that in ancient times the soil of this region was cultivated with sesame seeds. Suddenly one day Shivling was born from the fields of sesame seeds. When local people saw this shivaling, they started offering sesame after worshiping. It is believed that since then, they are called Tilabhundeshwar.
